Woolfest - 27 & 28 June 2014

For the tenth year running, we spent an enjoyable, successful and exhausting two days at Woolfest in Cockermouth.

The spindles again went well; we sold a half of our stock of Ledbetters and a third of the Greensleeves. We had our usual range: Forrester...

...Spindlewood...

...and Ledbetter.

We had a good range of the lovely Bonkers merino/bamboo (left) and merino/tencel (right).

...

We also sold a third of our drum carded batts, now available in six different colourways, of which "Smaug" (second shelf, on the right) and "Hobbiton" (third shelf, on the left) were the most popular.

The weather was about as good as it could be; no rain and not too hot either. Our feeling was that Woolfest was just slightly less crowded than in 2013, when at times it was hard for people to move along the aisles. As ever, we had a wonderful time, meeting old friends and making new ones.
